WOMen's Healthcare Services Offered

Hormone Optimization

Postpartum Depression/PMS/PMDD & PCOS

Postpartum Depression/PMS/PMDD & PCOS

At PA Men's Healthcare, we do treat women!  Dr. Csaszar started this practice to focus on men's health as there weren't many physicians treating men with hormones in PA.  After creating the new practice, he was asked if there were any women's health groups treating women with hormones that were safe and evidence based.  He could not find any that were using hormones that were safe according to the evidence and not just according to the drug reps.  As a result, we added appointments for women.  Dr. Csaszar has been treating female patients since medical school, so it was a no brainer.  We offer evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of hormones including Testosterone in women, Thyroid Hormones, DHEA, Estradiol, Progesterone, Growth Hormone, and others to improve your quality of life, longevity, and vitality.  By optimizing hormones, we help you feel better and function at your highest level.  In addition to symptom management, we diagnose and treat the root cause affecting your hormone imbalances.  PA Men's Healthcare, PLLC is a fee for service, cash based practice.  Currently, we see patients via telehealth visiting in or residing in Pennsylvania.  You may pay by credit card.  You may be able to use your FSA or HSA cards to pay for medical care; please contact your benefits carrier for eligibility.  You may use your insurance for any medication prescribed, labs ordered, or any other healthcare services required as part of your care.

Postpartum Depression can be mild to life threatening to the mom and baby.  Successful treatment involves using progesterone to replace the bottomed out hormone levels after delivery.  This works quickly to replace the progesterone that is lost.  SSRIs/SNRIs take weeks to be effective, while progesterone replacement takes hours to be effective.  Taking SSRIs/SNRIs only treats the symptoms, it doesn't treat the low progesterone level.  Progesterone replacement also benefits women with PMS symptoms, PMDD, and improves symptoms of Perimenopause and Menopause.

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a genetic condition that causes insulin resistance,  high estradiol levels, low progesterone levels, cystic ovaries, high testosterone levels, high DHEA levels, irregular periods, weight gain, infertility, and many other  signs and symptoms.  The treatment for PCOS is complex and it is a lifelong commitment.  Patients must maintain a healthy diet, participate in a regular exercise routine, and optimize hormones to prevent the side effects and consequence of PCOS.  Patient with PCOS are at risk for endometrial cancer, breast cancer, heart attacks, strokes, diabetes, and many other health issues due to the insulin resistance and abnormal hormone levels associated with PCOS.

Perimenopause/Menopause

Postpartum Depression/PMS/PMDD & PCOS

Perimenopause/Menopause

Since the deeply flawed Women's Health Initiative study in 2002, the world has been afraid of hormones in perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause.  When this study was reviewed carefully, the life saving benefits of hormones in women were found.  Numerous other studies since then have showed that synthetic hormones in menopause increase the risk of heart attack, stroke, dementia, and breast cancer.  Using hormones that are similar to hormones naturally found in the body (Bioidentical Hormones)  prevented these side effects.  In menopause, a combination of estradiol, progesterone, and testosterone will be life changing for women.  Evidence for using these three hormones in menopause show significant reversal in osteoporosis or osteopenia, improvements in cardiovascular function, and brain health.  At PA Men's Healthcare, we offer treatment for perimenopause, menopause, & postmenopause  via telehealth to any patient visiting in or residing in Pennsylvania.  To maintain expedited, individualized care to patients, we do not take health insurance.  We are a fee for service, cash based practice.  You may pay by credit card.  You may be able to use your FSA or HSA cards to pay for medical care; please contact your benefits carrier for eligibility.  You may use your insurance for any medication prescribed, labs ordered, or any other healthcare services required as part of your care.
